Shaping the Future of PGE.com
Designed a proof of concept for re-imagining the pge.com landing page and account dashboard experience
Pacific Gas and Electric Company, incorporated in California in 1905, is one of the largest combined natural gas and electric energy companies in the United States.
The goal of this project was quickly to create proof concept designs to support a request for a design proposal.
I took responsibility to perform quick research to understand the utility domain and create improved and modern design proof of concepts
User Research, Industry Research, Competitor Analysis, Wireframing, Visual Design, Prototyping, Presentation
To accommodate the changing trends and keep their customer satisfied the clients were aiming to reimagine their current digital experience to elevate the overall user experience of their digital platform.
As part of the proposal response, we wanted to communicate our vision visually through design concepts.
Quick User and Industry Research
To familiarize myself with the utility domain I spoke with several subject matter experts to understand the basics. I also conducted a few interviews to understand major user goals and pain points to address as part of the design concepts.
Apart from user research I did some competitor analysis and understood the capabilities other companies offered and did a quick comparative assessement.
