A close friend of mine, the CTO of a leading cybersecurity firm, came to me with an intriguing idea: reimagining how system, network, and security admins interact with complex configurations. Inspired by the modular simplicity of customizing cars in racing games, he envisioned a drag-and-drop design canvas that would replace tedious, form-based UIs with an intuitive, visual workflow.
Excited by the potential of his idea, I collaborated with him to fuel it with a clear design vision. Together, we explored how this concept could simplify tasks, engage users, and create a more efficient way to handle intricate configurations. I brought his vision to life through design sketches and prototypes, supporting his pitch and helping him present a compelling case to his stakeholders. This project became a testament to the power of combining technical expertise with user-centered design.
